Investigation Log – V. Grant, Day 3
I attended Laura Hoffmann’s pottery class today. My presence was not welcomed, not openly, but in the quiet way people choose not to look at you.
The feeling from yesterday has not left me. If anything, it has sharpened. I am being watched.
Several familiar faces were there, individuals already noted in my investigation. Coincidence, perhaps. Or something more deliberate. They did not seem troubled by the fire, not in the way one would expect. Too calm. Too detached.
It leaves an unsettling thought. Am I following the case… or is the case beginning to follow me?
I will speak with Tobias Klein next. A local craftsman, woodwork and repairs. A man who understands materials, and perhaps how easily they burn.
